THE 65th Wexford Fringe Guide, sponsored by Green Acres and supported by Failte Ireland, will be launched at 6 p.m. tomorrow (September 13) in GreenAcres Wexford.
This year’s Wexford Fringe runs in parallel to the Opera Festival, from Thursday, October 19, to Sunday, November 5.
It promises an eclectic mix of over 300 events over 17 days including cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, film, theatre, puppetry, music, and visual art, many of which are free to attend.
‘The Wexford Fringe Festival has become a tourist attraction in its own right, and is warmly welcomed by retailers, as it provides a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the summer and Christmas trade - while enhancing the town’s global reputation as a kaleidoscopic hub of cultural activity,’ said Karl Fitzpatrick, President of Wexford Chamber.
