THRESHING/FIELD DAY

Blackwater Vintage Club’s annual Vintage Threshing and Field day will take place in Blackwater village on Saturday, September 30, at 1 p.m. Other attractions include bottle stall, dog show, live music and dancing with Declan, vintage display and many more. CLOTHING COLLECTION

Blackwater camogie club will be holding a clothing collection fundraiser this October. Please drop your unwanted clothes, shoes, bedlinen, towels and curtains to the Blackwater GAA Clubhouse on Thursday, September 28, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 4, 5 and 6 between 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The deadline is Saturday, October 7. COTS TRAINING

Kilmuckridge COTS (Career Opportunities Training Scheme) is a WWETB (formerly Fás) training centre located in Kilmuckridge and is aimed at people in receipt of a social welfare payment between the ages of 18 and 35. We are offering the opportunity to complete a Level five in Retail Practice with additional subjects: payroll, and book keeping.
