CLOTHES COLLECTION

Ballycanew National School are holding a clothes recycling collection on Monday, October 16, to help raise funds for the school. Please donate all your new and used men’s/women’s and children’s clean unwanted clothing, paired shoes, towels, belts, handbags, ties, lines, household textiles, stuffed toys etc.

Where possible please donate at least three bags, this really does raise much needed funds for our school. We need a minimum of 20 bags to be collected.

Please leave bags into GP hall on Friday, October 13, between 9 a.m. And 3 p.m. or before 9.30 a.m. on Monday, October 16. Please do not leave bags after 9.30 a.m. on the Monday morning. Thank you for your support.

LITTLE DUCKLINGS

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot: winning numbers were 21, 22, 24 and 26; two matched three numbers to each receive €100: Sarah, Caoimhe, Andrew and Eabha; Kathleen Tighe.

WHIST DRIVE RESULTS

Results of whist drive held in hall on Friday night September 15: Gents; first Cyril Bryan, second Gwen Gilmore, third Colin; Gents Half Time; Ladies first Deirdre de Paor, second Peg Kennedy, third Heather Hayes. Whist drive continues every Friday night in the hall.
