CHILLING HALLOWEEN TALES
Halloween is not just for kids. This event for people aged 18+ will see bestselling author Caroline Busher recount a series of terrifying tales in the spooky surroundings of Enniscorthy Castle, starting 7 p.m. This is strictly an adult event. Tickets are €5 from www.enniscorthycastle.ie.
SPOOKY SPLASH
Seal Rescue Ireland host a Halloween Spooky Splash in Courtown from October 28 to October 30 between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
Activities include pumpkin carving, costume contest. games, crafts, treats, scary scavenger hunt and guided tours. The cost is €5 per child and adults are free.
PUMPKIN CARVING
Carve a Halloween pumpkin at Springmount Garden Centre on the Ballycanew Road, Gorey, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Booking is essential and the price ifs €4 per child including materials.
FANCY DRESS
Hollyfort community hold a fancy dress in Cooney’s from 9.30 p.m. until late. Music by JR. Tickets are €5 from committee members of Cooney’s Pub. This is a fundraiser for Hollyfort Tidy Towns.
SPOOKY WOODS
‘Spooky Walk’ in the Haunted Woods of Camolin Park. A ‘Ghostbus to the Park’ will pick up at St Patrick’s GAA Club house. Tours start at 5.30 p.m. Call to spooky Jack’s Tavern afterwards for some colcannon and enjoy some music and craic. Tickets are €10 each and are limited.

HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP
Halloween workshops at Wexford Lavender Farm between 1 a.m. and 12 noon. Helen from Claymazing will be making spooky doors with the kids (age 3+). The cost is €10 per child.

POLISH HALLOWEEN FUN DAY
Gorey Polish PL in association with Wexford County Council is holding a family fun day at Gorey Town Park between 12 noon and 4 p.m. On the day there will be dancy dress competitions, pumpkin carving and much more. All welcome.
PUMPKIN CARVING
Join Anne Manning to create some of the spookiest pumpkins in town, at the Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.. The workshop is suitable for kids of all ages and takes place at 2 p.m. for kids from four – six, and 3 p.m. And 4 p.m. for the rest. You can either bring your own pumpkin or they will be available at the Farmer’s Market on the day. The cost is €5 per child and children under-16 must be accompanied by an adult.
