GOREY SHOPPING CENTRE FUN DAY

Afternoon of kids entertainm­ent between 12 noon and 3 p.m. at Gorey Shopping Centre. This will include face painting, arts and crafts, colouring corner and fancy dress competitio­n. All welcome.

FACE PAINTING WORKSHOP

At Wexford Arts Centre, 11 am, Spooky Halloween face painting workshop for children with Red Moon Creative Arts Theatre. Profession­al artists will show you how to create your own zombie, skeleton, vampire, ghost and scary monster looks. Suitable for children aged 5 to 12.

PLAYBARN HALLOWEEN FUN

Ross is hosting a Halloween party disco on Friday, October 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. when Disney characters will be making an appeareanc­e. Fancy dress is optional and there will be spot prizes and plenty of games. Admission is €7.50 per child.

KIDS FANCY DRESS HALLOWEEN DISCO

Horeswood Camogie Club are holding their annual Halloween kids fancy dress disco in the Horeswood GAA indoor complex on Wednesday, October 25, from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Admission is €5.

SPOOKY FACE PAINTING

Complete your spooky outfit with some Halloween face-painting at the Presentati­on Centre in Enniscorth­y, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Experts will be on hand to paint faces in the foyer from 2 p.m. onwards, just in time for trick or treating. Children and adults of all ages are catered for at just €3 per person and all kinds of unusual requests can be accommodat­ed.

HALLOWEEN MOVIE NIGHT

It’s the scariest time of the year and young and old are invited to bring their trick or treat sweets to the Presentati­on Centre in Enniscorth­y on Halloween night for a special Halloween Movie Night, from 7 p.m. The Presentati­on Centre presents a spooky screening of the classic tale of terrible witches, Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus’. It promises to be a frightenin­gly good night of fun for all the family and people are invited to come along in their own spooky costumes to add to the atmosphere. Tickets are priced at €4 each or €13 for a family of four. Under-16s must be accompanie­d by an adult and there will also be a shop open on the night.

TRICK OR TREAT AT THE CASTLE

Enniscorth­y Castle’s medieval ghosts will be on hand to present some special Halloween goodies to trick or treaters at Enniscorth­y Castle. This event is free of charge. 5.15 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

HALLOWEEN DISCO

There will be a Halloween disco in Kiltealy Community Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Child entry €5, family entry €10. Wear fancy dress. All proceeds go to Kiltealy Park developmen­t.
