HALLOWEEN DISCO
There is a Halloween Disco in Bree Community Centre on this Friday, October 27, from 3 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. for all primary school pupils. DJs are Liam Sharkey and Shane Roche. Admission is three euro. Tea or coffee available. This Disco is in aid of a TY Pupil Programme Work Experience in an orphanage in Bucharest.
PIONEER MEETING
A Diocesan Meeting of the Pioneer movement will be held in Bree Community Centre on Tuesday, October 24, at 8 p.m. All pioneers are asked to attend this very important meeting. Any pioneers in the parish who are due silver or gold pins are asked to contact Eddie Dunne before October 31.
YOUTH CLUB EGM
Bree Youth Club is holding an EGM in November 7 at 8 p.m. in Bree Hall. All parents/guardians are welcome to attend.
TABLE QUIZ
The annual table quiz in aid of St John’s Church, Clonmore will take place in Enniscorthy Rugby Club this Friday, October 27, at 8 p.m. A table of four costs €20 with refreshments and a raffle on the night also. All support would be greatly appreciated.
BREE PARISH JOURNAL
Preparations for Bree Parish Journal are under way for this year’s edition due for publication before Christmas. All clubs and organisations in the parish are asked to have a report of their activities over the past two years ready for the end of October. SMART FITNESS
Smart Fitness takes place in Galbally Hall on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. And on Friday mornings from 9.45 a.m. Cost per session is €7.50. For further details contact Colette at 086 3927655.
BREE AC NEWS
Indoor Training has resumed in Bree Hall on Thursday nights and outdoor training takes place on Monday and Wednesday evening, all starting at 7pm.
Well done to all the athletes who competed in the Co Cross Country Part 2 in Ferns last weekend. Results are as follows U9 Lea Bolger 2nd, Jayden Kenny 1st, Shane Laffan 7th U11 Katie Doyle 1st.
Next outing for the club will be the Leinster championships in Adamstown on November 12.
