WEXFORDMARATHON
It was an absolutely spectacular day on the racing front for Wexford Marathon Club at the Dublin City Marathon.
Conditions were ideal, with outstanding performances all round. First clubman home was Barry Brown who knocked an astonishing 26 minutes off his personal best, finishing strong in 3:26. Well done Barry.
First lady home was Maria McDonald in a super time of 3:37, a P.B. of seven minutes. Congratulations Maria.

You all did W.M.C. proud. Even to get on that start line is an achievement, as it takes guts, strength and determination which you all have in buckets. Enjoy the celebrations, well deserved.
And now on to the two men who travelled to Howth for an East of Ireland road marathon. It was a tough, testing course with climbing of 24,00 ft.
Congratulations to the boys who ran exceptional races, Paddy Rowe 4:21 in third place and Paul Duggan. Congratulations lads, savage running.
The club continues to thrive, going from strength to strength. These are amazing achievements for a club only running less than two years.
