GAA NEWS

Hard luck to our intermediate hurlers who suffered the heartbreak of losing the county final replay by a single point, 3-17 to 3-18 to Crossabeg-Ballymurn. The game was so close that it went to extra time and even then it looked as if a second replay would be needed to separate the teams. Our lads fought back from being 11 points down mid-way throught the second half to draw at the final whistle. They went five points ahead in extra time but a late flurry from Crossabeg, including a goal with only 30 seconds remaining, gave them the one point win.
