CASTLEDOCKRELL NS HALLOWEEN FUN

Friday, October 27, was ‘Freaky Friday’ in Castledockrell National School. Pupils and staff alike transformed themselves into all sorts of strange and spooky creatures. We then marched through the village on our annual Halloween Hike. Throughout the day the children enjoyed some traditional Halloween games and activities. This year’s Halloween Competition was to compose and design a poem. The winners were Luke Byrne (Junior/Senior Infants), Chloe Kelly Doyle (first/ second class), Maeve Byrne (third/fourth class) and Luke Byrne (fifth/sixth class). The standard was very high. Well done to all who took part. The school reopened after the break on Monday, November 6. We hope all of our families enjoyed the midterm break. For further information on any of the above, please contact the school at 053 9388892 or visit our website castledockrellns.weebly.com
