So many explosive entries!
IT WAS worth the wait! The postponed festival fireworks on Sunday, November 5, proved a treat for those who thronged Wexford’s quays – and many fantastic photographs were taken on the night.
Our photo competition received a tremendous response. We received nearly a hundred wonderful snaps from the night, showing the display in all its glory.
On these four pages are just some of our favourites from the entries. The photos include Terri Evans’s lovely picture of little Eliza in her daddy’s arms at her first fireworks, and several striking silhouettes of the Commodore Barry statue.
The lucky winner of €100 is Sandra Ryan, whose evocative photograph impressed the judges. Two runners-up each receive €50 – Terry Byrne and Aisling Kehoe. Congratulations!
