New Ross Town show their title credential­s

U-12PremierD­ivision

Courtown Hibs 0, New Ross Town 2: After their exploits in the FAI Under-12 Cup at the end of October, New Ross Town got back to domestic matters and marked themselves as serious contenders for the title after overcoming Courtown Hibs 2-0.

Ella Nolan and Leah Ryan were on target for the winners.

Ballindagg­in AFC 2, Curracloe United 4: Curracloe made it three wins from three games and Polly Redmond continued her good form when she scored all four of her side’s goals in this 4-2 win. Sarah Kehoe and Jenna Conroy were both on target for the winners

U-12Division­One

North End United 2, New Ross Celtic 5: Aoife Kielthy scored five for New Ross Celtic and moved her side joint top of the table in the process as they overcame North End in Drinagh.

Shannon Maguire and Mika Lawlor were on target for the home side, one of them a penalty when Abigail Law was taken down in the second-half.

U-12Division­2A

Bridge Rovers 3, Gorey Rangers 2: The home side came out on top in this five-goal thriller against a very hard-working Gorey Rangers outfit, who will feel unlucky not to have grabbed at least a point.

Ella Wan and Lucia Kavanagh scored for the visitors while Olivia Morris scored twice for Rovers, with Mia Denton also on target.

Moyne Rangers 1, Kilmore United 0: Moyne collected the three points in this hard-fought encounter and moved away from the bottom two.

Cassie O’Rourke scored the only goal of a very competitiv­e game where defences dominated.

Adamstown FC 2, Aughrim Rangers 5: Aughrim Rangers moved joint top of the table when they travelled to Newbawn and came away 5-2 winners to give them their third win of the season.

Eilis Roche and Megan Martin scored for Adamstown while three goals from Chloe Sheehy and two from Ciara Connolly gave Rangers a well-earned three points.

U-12Division­2B

Seaview United 0, Shelburne AFC 5: Two goals each from Neala Barron and Sophie Kennedy and one from Eimear Porter gave Shelburne a 5-0 win away to a young but improving Seaview side.

This win moves Shelburne into contention just a point off the top.

New Ross Town 0, Bree United 8: Bree picked up their second win of the season and moved into contention after this big win away to New Ross Town’s second team. Abbie Doyle scored a hattrick while Aoife Fortune and Ava Donegan added two each, with Kasey Cullen also on targetww.
