VINTAGE CLUB AGM

The Over the Water Vintage Club AGM will take place on Wednesday, January 24, at 8.30 p.m. in the club room, Ballymurn Hall. Members and intending members please attend.

Crossabeg-Ballymurn Oylegate-Glenbrien CES Scheme have a vacancy for Community Employment Supervisor. Qualificat­ions required: Major Award at level (QQI level six or higher) in Business/Financial Administra­tion, Training/, Project Management, Community Developmen­t or a related discipline.

Candidates must have three years’ experience in administra­tion, Project Management and/ or other relevant position, proof of Qualificat­ions with applicatio­n please. Proficienc­y in Microsoft Office programmes, with a high level of keyboard and computeris­ed office skills, including payroll systems. A full driving licence and car is required.

Ballymurn Youth Club meets on Fridays in the hall from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

IRISH NIGHT

Irish night will take place in the Anvil Pub on January 26.

BINGO

Bingo is played every Monday night in the Anvil Ballymurn at 9 p.m.

BETWEEN THE BELLS

Between the Bells 2018 commencedo­n Tuesday, January 9, and continues at 7 p.m. for subsequent weeks till Tuesday, February 20.

Cost: €10 up front payment or €2 pay-as-you-go. €25 up front family payment or €5 pay-as-yougo. €1 per child pay-as-you-go. Optional weigh in.

All participan­ts represent one of the following: Senior, under-16 + under-18, under-14 and all younger groups. Players get two points for participat­ing and one point for non-players. All participan­ts represent one of the following: Senior, under-16/under-18, under-14/all younger groups. Prize of €150, decided upon by members and manager.

5K FUN RUN/WALK

The Ballymurn 5k Fun Run/ Walk will be held on Sunday, January 28, in Ballymurn. This is the fourth consecutiv­e year of this event.

All proceeds raised from the run/walk will be split equally between Temple Street Hospital and Ballymurn National School. Entry Fee – you decide, there will be a donation box at registrati­on. Registrati­on in Ballymurn Hall from 10.30 a.m., Run/Walk at midday refreshmen­ts afterwards in the hall. Spot prizes on the day.
