Making Hope and Dream a family occasion

-

‘Exercise is a blessing not a chore... I exercise because I am grateful that I can...’

What better way to exercise and compete in the Hope and Dream than participating with your family. Family are the people we turn to in time of illness or to celebrate our happy occasions in our lives.

To compete and achieve your goal with your family is very worthwhile and so special.

Exercising together builds and strengthens family relations.

We are very lucky in Wexford to have such fabulous services at our doorstep as the Hope Cancer Support Centre and Wexford Hospice Homecare.

The Hope Centre is a very special place and our mother Sarah Barron provides the Lymphoedema service there.

The O’Connor family – finalists in RTE’s Ireland’s Fittest Family – are honoured to be part of Hope and Dream 2018.

We are calling on all families to gather loved ones and let’s get moving to participate in the Hope and Dream 10 on April 8.

O’Connor family tips:

Start small, slow progress is better than no progress; Find a exercise that you enjoy doing; Build up gradually; Be consistent; Believe you can and you are half way there.

Be happy and have fun, enjoy what you are doing and whom you are doing the exercise with.
