LOFTUS Hall was bought by the Quigley family in 2011 and after much market research, opened to the public for its first tour on Friday 13th of July 2012.

The family have a farming and building background so tourism is a whole new ball game.

However, In the 5 years it has been open as a tourist attraction, year on year the visitor numbers keep growing.

The business is seasonal, however most of the work is done off peak season to ensure that there is constantly something new on offer to the customer.

This is a mad business to be in (especially at Halloween) so it is all about the prep work and planning.

On March 9th, the Lodgers Movie which was shot in Wexford and features Loftus Hall as the main location will be out in Irish cinemas, this is something we are really excited about as it will show Loftus Hall in all its wonder to a broader audience.

This summer, we have so much planned, we are unveiling a new section in the walled gardens that we have been working very hard on, a new summer cafe menu with an al-fresco dining option - in our newly covered courtyard - which will also act as an entertainment area in the evening.

We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support and hope to welcome you all back this year as we reveal more of what loftus Hall has to offer.
