Seeing as the first two week’s were generally a wash out, the club committee has decided to add another two weeks to ‘Between the Bells’ and continue now till Tuesday, March 6, That gives everyone five more Tuesdays starting tonight in the community field at 7 p.m. Ladies’ Football
Crossabeg-Ballymurn LGFC are looking for locally talented people to take part in a talent competition that’s been organised by the Ladies’ Football County Board.
There are two semi-finals, one for the north and the other for the south of the county with the south one taking place March 3 in the Horse and Hound. The north semi-final in which we have to enter a minimum of one act to a maximum of three takes place on March 16 in the Riverside Park Hotel. The final will take place at a later date.
Tickets for the semi-finals are now available. So anyone over the age of 14 from Crossabeg, Ballymurn, Oylegate or Glenbrien can contact Niall McDonald 086 1726923 or Susan Neville 087 0524504 before February 23 and its first come that will go forward and you don’t necessarily need to be a club member. The prize money is €500 for first place and €200 for second. Coffee morning
The family of Mary Doyle, Kilmallock will host a coffee morning in Ballymurn hall on Friday, February 16, in aid of the new centre birch view in enniscorthy community workshop from 10 a.m/2 p.m..Also raffle on the day for great prizes. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
5K FUN RUN/WALK
Congratulations to everyone that turned out for the 5k last weekend in aid of temple Street children’s hospital and ballymurn NS Over 300 people took part. Well done to bobby and mag Redmond for all their hard work organising the event. It was a great day for the community.
