“SPLIT-THE-POT”

It costs just two euro to take part in The Ballagh “Split-the-Pot” which benefits the local primary school. Entry envelopes are available in all local businesses: Tim’s Chipper, Caroline’s Hairdressi­ng, Bob’s Bar, Lounge, Shop & Takeaway, The Sawdust , Barry Walsh’s Car Servicing, The Unyoke Cafe, The Trading Post, Angelo’s Takeaway, The Post Office and Ballaghkee­ne Daybreak. Parents/Guardians may also get entry envelopes in the school office.

FIRST RESPONDERS

If you are interested in joining Oulart-The Ballagh Cardiac First Responders Unit, full training will be provided. If you would like more informatio­n please attend the next meeting on Tuesday 13th February at 7.30pm in Oulart Community Centre or ring Vickie @ 087-7780749.

OULART HILL AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Oulart Hill Developmen­t will take place tonight, Tuesday 6th February in Oulart Community Centre, beginning at 8pm. All are welcome to attend and become involved in this group.

WALK TO THE UNYOKE

Reserve Saturday 10th February, for a fantastic 10 km Walk, from the Trailhead at Oulart Hill to The Unyoke. The Walk will start at 10 am. Guides will interpret some of the most interestin­g sites along the way. The Walk will take around 2 hours 30 mins. Transport will be available to bring walkers back to their cars. Adults will pay a registrati­on fee of 10 euro, Under 18s go free.

“B-FIT” FUNDRAISER

The GAA Club, The Camogie Club and the community are uniting together to raise funds doing “B-FIT” (Lifestyle Transforma­tion) and if anyone from the club or the parish would like to be on a team or get involved in any way you can still do so by contacting Geraldine Doyle 087 9227931 or Patrick Fortune 087 9339950. It is a wonderful way to meet people and to get fit, with walking on Monday–Friday mornings at 9.30 am and from 7.00 to 9.00 pm nightly on the top pitch, under lights. Line Dancing on Tuesday night in Oulart Community Centre and Keep Fit exercises on Wednesday from 7.00 to 8.00 pm.

UNDER-AGE REGISTRATI­ON

Membership­s renewal forms are available now for Camogie and Hurling and our first joint registrati­on night will be on Sunday 25th Feb 2018 @ 7.30pm in Oulart Community Centre. UNDERAGE MATCHES

The first underage matches of the year will be on Saturday 17th Feb in Oulart with our Under 15’s and Under 13 Hurlers competing in the Cross-County Leinster leagues The Under 13’s play Thomas Davis GAA, Co. Dublin @ 1.00 pm and the Under 15’s play Craanford Fr. O’Regan’s, Co. Wexford @ 2.30 pm. The boys would appreciate as much support as possible for the start of their Cross-County League matches. Best of luck to players and mentors.
