Oylegate-Glenbrien camogie club present ‘The two Johnnies’ on Saturday, April 14, in Oylegate Community Centre at 8 p.m. Tickets are €15 each.

TALENT COMPETITION

Crossabeg-Ballymurn LGFC are looking for locally talented people to take part in a talent competition that’s been organised by the Ladies’ Football County Board.

There are two semi-finals, one for the north and the other for the south of the county with the south one taking place March 3 in the Horse and Hound. The north semi-final in which we have to enter a minimum of one act to a maximum of three takes place on March 16 in the Riverside Park Hotel. The final will take place at a later date. Tickets for the semi-finals are now available.

So anyone over the age of 14 from Crossabeg, Ballymurn, Oylegate or Glenbrien can contact Niall McDonald 086 1726923 or Susan Neville 087 0524504 before February 23 and its first come that will go forward and you don’t necessarily need to be a club member. The prize money is €500 for first place and €200 for second

COFFEE MORNING

The family of Mary Doyle, kilmallock are hosting a coffee morning in Ballymurn Hall on Friday day February 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in aid of Burch View the new unit in Co Wexford Community Workshop Bellefield Enniscorthy. Come along to enjoy a relaxing cuppa and delicious cakes. Raffle for great prizes on the day. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

IRISH NIGHT

Irish night in the Anvil Pub Ballymurn returns on Friday, February 23. Everyone welcome.

Ash Wednesday – February 14, Blessed Ashes will be distributed at 8.30 a.m., 11 a.m., and after 7.30 p.m. Mass. The sick will be visited with Blessed Ashes on Wednesday afternoon.
