Fined for having no seat belt

PAMELA SIMMONSON (42) of 12 the Courtyard, Bohreen Hill, Enniscorthy was fined €80 at Gorey District Court for failure to wear her safety belt.

The single mother of three children was caught un-belted on the road near to her home on March 20 last.

Her solicitor told the court that Ms Simmonson is employed as a social care worker.

The prosecution accepted that she was fully insured on the date in question.
