Bench warrant issued for woman

A BENCH warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Enniscorhty woman after she failed to appear before Judge John Cheatle to answer to a charge of unauthorised taking of a mechanically propelled vehicle.

Katie Oxenbould (24) of 19 Parkton House, Enniscorthy, was to face the charge arising from an incident near her home on February 9.

When there was no sign of her when called, Sgt Victor Isdell asked for a bench warrant and the Judge complied.
