Teach Spraoi Childcare Centre

TEACH Spraoi is a purpose built childcare centre situated in the village of Taghmon. Our sole aim is to provide quality care and education in a safe and friendly and developmentally challenging environment to the children in our community and beyond. ECCE Scheme/ CCS Scheme/ Affordable Childcare Scheme/ Tec Programmes available.

Toddler Room/ Transition Room/ ECCE Rooms: 9.30am-12.30pm/ 9.00am-2.00pmMonday- Friday. We provide a quality preschool curriculum based on the frameworks Aistear and Siolta which also incorporates elements of Montessori through the use of specific materials. Teach Spraoi has a huge enclosed and safe outdoor play area and we have more recently added a natural garden area so as to further encourage and promote “quality outdoor play experiences” for our children.

Afterschool: 2.00pm/3.00pm-5.45pm Mon – Fri. We provide an excellent afterschool programme which incorporates time for homework supervision/ meal time and plenty of time for the children to play and relax after a day in school. All of the equipment/ materials used for the afterschool group were chosen with great care and consideration for the specific age groups that would be using them. We at Teach Spraoi have to ensure that your child’s needs both from a play and developmental perspective are been met.
