CONFIRMATION DAY

There was no fear of getting sun burn but it was still a great day with 56 children who were confirmed on Wednesday, March 21. The children were a credit to themselves, their families, teachers, and the parish they represented.

The fifth and sixth class pupils from Clonegal were confirmed in St Bridget’s Church and Kildavin pupils were confirmed in St Lazerian’s Church. The churches were full early and it was good to see so many parents, grandparents and relatives present. Bishop Denis McNulty delivered a beautiful homily that impressed more than the children. Thanks were expressed to all who had helped with the arrangements which had seen the day go off without a hitch. The children who received Sacrament of Confirmation are as follows.
