TOURIST OFFICE VOLUNTEERS

THE MONDAY CLUB

The Monday Club meets at St Mary’s Centre, Ryland Road, Bunclody on Mondays. Come and join us and brighten up your Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Throughout the year there will be informatio­n sharing, entertainm­ent, arts and crafts, guest speakers and many more topics.

Monday, May 21 – Arts and crafts, card games/bingo and lots of chat.

Monday, May 28 – Variety Show – performed by the talented FCJ students.

Entrance Fee is €4 which includes tea or coffee and Light Lunch. This Club will suit the 60+ age group. Transport not provided.

Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. New Creative Writing Group with Cat Hogan-Author. Best-selling Author Cat Hogan will facilitate this meeting of the Drop of Ink Creative writing group. Cat is from Wexford and her first award-nominated novel ‘ They all fall down’ was published in 2016. She has facilitate­d workshops and given talks at festivals. The group will then meet on the first Saturday of each month. Booking essential.

Saturday, May 19 – Bricks four Kids – 2.30 p.m. – suitable for seven to 12 years. Bricks four Kidz® workshops teach the principles of Science, Technology, Engineerin­g and Maths (STEM) through mechanical LEGO technic kits to boys and girls aged 7-12 years.
