THE LATE ANN WARD

Widespread regret was occasioned by the passing of Ann Ward, Kiltealy and formerly Knockroe, Borris which occurred peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, at her daughter Caroline’s home following a short illness. Deep- est sympathy is extended to her daughter Caroline and sons Willie, Henry and Nicky and also extended family and many friends. Her husband Liam pre-deceased her by 13 years.

Age 61 years she was formerly Ann Smith, Kiltealy and was of a quiet, gentle and sincere personality and very popular in the area. Ann was a talented craft worker and an active member of the local Caim Knit and Stitch Group and Delightful Dollies, Enniscorthy where she used her talents for patchwork, quilting, felting and knitting projects. She also gave demonstrations in various crafts at local ICA guild meetings. Her untimely passing will leave a huge void in her family and the community.
