New Campus – New Courses – New Opportunities for September 2018
BUNCLODY College of Further Education has been delivering first grade Q.Q.I. courses in the Bunclody area for many years. Our commitment to the needs of the learner and the community is second to none. In this time of economic upturn you need to put your trust in a college with a proven track record of delivering excellent courses which give you a real choice for gaining employment or progressing onto Third Level.
This is a very exciting year for us as we have moved into our new campus, which is separate from our second-level school. This new campus gives students the opportunity to experience the beginnings of a college experience and enjoy the facilities on offer.
On Sunday, 27th May 3.30pm – 5.30pm, we are celebrating our new campus with an Open Day, there will be tutors on hand to give advice on all our courses, past graduates to talk about their experiences, an opportunity to enrol or just view the new campus and see the facilities first hand. Beat FM will be coming along to add to the festivities.

As you can see from the above list, our College is determined to offer applicants an opportunity to develop a wide-range of skills that will lead onto employment.
We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of the community in the area of Further Education. Our past pupils have gone onto very lucrative careers and some have reached the highest level of educational achievement. We look carefully at the needs of the community when developing our range of courses. We have developed links with local employers and these employers are aware of the high standards we espouse at College of Further Education, Bunclody.
If you are completing your Leaving Certificate and not sure where your career path is going, take a year out and do a course with us. You will gain invaluable skills in IT, work experience, communications and self-directed learning which will be essential to you when start third level. It will also minimise the very costly mistake of picking the wrong third-level course. We have a Career Guidance service in the school and a comprehensive Work Experience programme as part of the course, giving you all the information you need in order to make an informed decision about your career path.
We are now going into our fourth year of established links with Waterford I.T. and Carlow I.T., having had great success in our first year with the links. There are a specific number of places reserved for the graduates of Bunclody College of Further Education in a wide variety of courses in Waterford I.T. and Carlow I.T.
