MARY Barry’s Seafood Bar and Restaurant, located in the heart of Kilmore, which brings a mix of tradition and quality cuisine to the table, prides itself on sourcing quality food locally and turning it into delicious and tasty dishes.

They are Leinster winners of The Irish Restaurant Awards 2016 Best Gastro Pub in Wexford and also most recently crowned Leinster Gastro Pub Award Winners 2017, a title that has been well earned.

Mary Barry’s has been a traditional pub serving an extensive menu prepared by legendary chef Nicky Cullen.

Established in 2000 by Susie Doyle, Mary Barry’s has gained a high reputation. Fresh catches landed ashore at Kilmore Quay are sourced from Seaview Fish, Tuskar Seafood, Duncannon Fish and other local suppliers before being taken into Mary Barry’s.

The business helps the fishing industry where people can experience a working har- bour at Kilmore Quay, watch the fishermen land their catch and follow the trail towards a delicious meal.

Susie’s Husband, Alec Scallan who is a fisherman himself, also advises on the selection of prime seafood for the restaurant.

It is a family friendly destination with an enclosed Beer Garden which has a safe children’s

play area and a bouncy castle. There is entertainment every weekend in the bar and outdoor music (weather permitting) during the summer months.

The energetic kitchen and floor crew at Mary Barry’s trade on quality and loyalty to local producers with 90% of all produce used coming from Co Wexford including our local potato supplier Fortune’s and vegetable supplier Reville’s. Susie stresses that the hard work and team effort of the staff and the loyalty of our customers has contributed greatly to making Mary Barry’s the success it is today.
