First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m. in St Moling’s church.

TIDY TOWNS

It’s that time of year again and just a reminder to everyone that the judging time for the the Tidy Towns Competitio­n is fast approachin­g. Judging takes place during June, July and August. We would ask everyone again to make a special effort this year as we are still first in the county for the tidies centre. A huge thank you for your support in the past and your continued support, it is really appreciate­d.

The Jimmy Kavanagh (Shakey) skittleton memorial cup will take place on June 3 at Goslin’s pub, Ballycanew in aid of Wexford hospice home care and palliative care unit. Teams of four – €40 per team. Saturday, June 3, preliminar­y rounds. Sunday, June 3. prizes for ladies and gents division. Barbecue and live music on the day.
