KILTEALY FIELD EVENING

Kiltealy school will hold a field evening on Friday, June 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the school grounds. Lots of activities for all the family including mini world cup, cake stall, fun and games. Please support, all welcome.

Thirty six children pupils of Ballindagg­in NS and sixteen children pupils of Kiltealy NS were confirmed in St Colman’s Church, Ballindagg­in on Friday morning last.

Rathnure Killanne Blackstair­s CE, Kiltealy Parochial Grounds, Enniscorth­y, Co Wexford have vacancies in the following areas: Caretaker Ballindagg­in Community Hall; Groundsper­son Rathgarogu­e Parish; Groundsper­son Rathnure GAA Complex.

This is a developmen­tal opportunit­y, no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Duties will include environmen­tal work, grass cutting, litter control, spraying, weeding, strimming and general maintenanc­e work. Days per week: 2.5, hours per week 19.5 hours (excluding breaks).

Commenceme­nt date June. Eligibilit­y to participat­e on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years of age or over and in receipt of an Irish Social Welfare payment for one year or more. OPEN GARDEN

There will be an open garden day at Walter Kelly’s garden, Tombrick, Ballycarne­y on Sunday next, June 10, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in aid of St Anthony’s Unit, Enniscorth­y Community Workshop. Tea and raffle on the day all welcome.

DANCING

There is social dancing in Rathanna Hall on Sunday night next June 10, music by T-Bone Country, doors open 9.30 p.m., admission €8.
