THE countdown is under way for the 159th Gorey Agricultural
Show and Wright Insurance Brokers is proud to continue its sponsorship of this community focused event.
The show, which will be held at Clonattin on the outskirts of Gorey town on Saturday, June 16, has established a solid reputation as a leading event in the summer show calendar.
Competitors, exhibitors and some of Wexford’s finest food producers are lining up for this highlight of the local summer show season.
Now in its 5th year as title sponsor, Wright Insurance Brokers has a long-standing association with the Gorey Agricultural Show.
Show-goers are invited to visit the Wright Insurance Brokers stand in the main show ground where they can enjoy a variety of free family fun activities including face-painting, balloon modelling, games and colouring competitions in addition to a prize draw.

This year, there will be entertainment all day on stage with Theresa & The Stars, Louise Morrissey, and The Thunderbirds. Dancing with Declan will be there too, putting folks through their steps all day.
All throughout the show field, there will be various competitions, Horse Showing, Pony Games, Cattle Classes and Indoor Crafts for adults and children.
The dog lovers can enjoy the very popular Dog Show which will take place at 2 p.m., and entry can be made on the day. A new initiative this year will be the Poultry Section, which they hope will be popular.
The hugely popular Puppet Shows by Red Moon Theatre are always a winner with the younger show goers and will be held at 1.30 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 3.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., so call by early in the day to book your place.
As always, there will be a large selection of Trade Stands from local business, who have the opportunity to showcase what they have to offer and meet customers.
