Gorey Cricket Club has reached the Russell Court Cup Trophy final by defeating Clondalkin 2 in a comprehensive manner, posting a mammoth 7-173 from 20 overs, winning by 40 runs.

Considering the club’s short history and how difficult it is, with so few competitions, to reach a Cricket Leinster final, this is a phenomenal success.

The final will be held in Sandymount, Railway Union’s ground, Dublin, on Sunday, July 22, with our opponents soon to be announced.
