PAULINE’S SOCIETY
Coollattin golf course in the garden of Ireland was our most recent venture. A beautiful course and well maintained, it proved to be a tough challenge to all concerned.
Former captain Alan Nixon proved to have the measure of the course by leading the field into first place. Robert Ryan followed him closely behind in second place.
Third place went to Michael Jordan. Shane Monahan won the visitor’s prize and also managed to take the two very difficult nearest the pin prizes. Congratulations to all concerned.
Williamstown golf course will be the venue for our next outing on Saturday, July 14, with a tee-off time of 11 a.m. Those intending to travel should have their names posted on the noticeboard in Pauline’s Bar before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, to facilitate a draw to be made for groups.
Members and visitors who are travelling should make every effort to arrive at the course no later than 10.30 a.m.
