SENSORY PATH AT GROTTO

Last Sundays celebrations began with Bishop Brennan celebrating our special Mass with Fr Cosgrave as concelebrant and the congregation participating. At the end of the Mass the bishop blessed the Sensory Path. A County Council Official then performed the official opening of the Sensory Path. The Bishop lead the Congregation along he sensory and woodland paths and reflected and prayed at two stations along the way.

It was great to have the young people from Scoil Rince Le Chéile Irish Dancing School with us on Sunday to entertain us all. The young people from the community played a big part in the day with the children from Monageer National School provid- ing a wonderful exhibition of art and craft in the marquee, while art from Peek-a-boo Playschool adorned the border. We also had the help of a number of young people who helped with the Fairy Treasure Hunt.
