THURSDAY, JULY 12

PLATTERS AVAILABLE 12.30 – 7.30pm PHOTOGRAPH­IC & ART EXHIBITION 12.30 – 19.30 ‘THE LOFT’ at Stella Maris Centre. Stunning views of Kilmore Parish through the eyes of photograph­ers and artists.

Live Music at the Quayfront, 7pm with INTRO, a young and vibrant traditiona­l band from Wexford and the Bloco Garman Drummers with their Brazilian carnival beat. Master of Ceremonies Alan Corcoran from South East Radio.

Grand Festival Parade, 7.30 pm.

Starting at the Coast Hotel the parade will pass through the village with Red Moon Theatre and local groups, clubs and associatio­n presenting a colourful and musical extravagan­za.

Official opening by special guest Ruth Hegarty from ‘Fair City’ 8pm Enjoy a night of entertainm­ent for all the family at the Marina. Refreshmen­ts in the Marquee.

FISH FRIDAY MARKET 11.00am to 5pm.

Photograph­ic and Art Exhibition­s 12.30pm to 7.30 pm on the theme ‘The Essence of Kilmore Parish’ in ‘The Loft’, Stella Maris Centre. SEA KAYAKING ON THE Little Beach from 2pm to 6pm. Booking essential, register at the Stella Maris Centre. Also taking place on Saturday, July 14.

FAMILY FUN DAY – LIFE’S A BEACH with RED MOON THEATRE, At the Little Beach adjacent to the Marina. The Seafood Festival Sandcastle Competitio­n. 2pm to 4pm.

Festival lecture– THE KEERAGHS with Jim Hurley, Stella Maris Centre, 8pm to 9pm. Admission free.

Seafood Platters in Stella Maris Centre from 12.30pm to 7.30pm. Harbour stalls at the Marina, 12 noon.

Seafood Foraging, Bruce McDonald will lead a tour of the rocks pools. Bring a bucket, knife or scissors and suitable footwear. Meet at Stella Maris Centre at 12 noon.

Teddy Bears Picnic, 1pm to 2 pm at Shipwreck Cove Playground followed by puppet theatre in Stella Maris Centre.

The Saltees Yacht Challenge, 2.30pm to 5pm. Presentati­on of prizes in Kehoe’s pub at 6pm.

Nature walk with Jim Hurley 2pm to 4pm, Meet at the promendade beside the playground.

Sea kayaking on the Little Beach, 2pm to 6pm.

Red Moon Puppet Theatre, Stella Maris Centre, 4pm. Seafood Festival Run sponsored by Saltees Fish.

South End Sea Shanty Session, 9pm, Kehoe’s pub.

Sea Shanties, 2pm.

Workshop on Herbs for your Kitchen, 2.30pm with qualified horticultu­ralist and author Greta in Lifeboat Station. Booking not essential.

Céilí Mor on quayfront, 3pm.

Festival raffle draw, 6pm at the Marina. Tickets available throughout the village each day.
