Become a patron of Art in the Open

Wexford’s 11th annual Art in the Open, Europe’s largest plein air festival, is getting ready to welcome up to 200 artists from all over Ireland and the world to paint at stunning locations including Duncannon, Artramon House, Clonegal and Huntington Castle, Rosslare Harbour, Bunclody and Netownbarry House and Wexford town from July 29 to August 6.

You can become a patron of the festival for €50 which includes an invitation for you and a companion to attend the AITO exhibition preview wine reception in Greenacres, Selskar and if you decide to buy one of the paintings on show, you will receive €50 back off the purchase price.

‘Either way you are supporting a festival which is non-profit, run by volunteers, creates no noise litter or traffic jams and generates 1500 bed nights for the local economy every year’, said event manager Alma Hynes.
