SCORCHING HOT weather couldn’t keep the crowds from the Adamstown Show, which was bigger and better than ever this year.
Thanks to a huge effort by the organising committee who ensured the showground arenas were watered in the five days leading up to the big event, the fields kindly donated by the Cullen, Whelan and Redmond families were thronged with people from early in the morning for the first of the equestrian events at 11 a.m.
