LATE JOYCE KAVANAGH

It was with a feeling of deep regret that news was learned of the passing of Joyce Kavanagh, Ballinlug, Killanne which occurred at Wexford General Hospital on July 3 Deepest sympathy is extended to her husband Jay and son Alan and also to her sister Hazel and brothers Sam and Ken, extended family and many friends.

Joyce was age 74 years and was formerly Joyce Rothwell. She was very popular and well known in both business and farming circles having successfully operated holiday accommodation at local beaches and student accommodation in Waterford for many years prior to her retirement. She also worked alongside her husband on the family farm. Her passing will leave a huge void in the community but especially in her loving family.

There was a large and representative attendance at her funeral Mass in Kiltealy Church after which cremation took place at Harold’s Crematorium, Dublin. May she rest in peace.

Although grants will be received they will not entirely cover the cost of the extensive work and fundraising events will be taking place in the coming months to cover extra costs.
