Fixtures this week: Under-13 Hurling v Oulart-The Ballagh tonight (Tuesday) 7.30 p.m. at home. Wednesday under-20 Hurling Championsh­ip v Rathnure 8 p.m. Home. Thurs: under-15 football v St Patrick’s 7.30 p.m. Monday Minor football championsh­ip v Ferns 7: 30 Home.

If Wexford are defeated against Clare. The intermedia­tes are in championsh­ip action this Saturday against Cloughbawn at 7.30 in St Patrick’s Park, Enniscorth­y.

Our minor hurlers enjoyed a last gasp win against Rathgarogu­e-Cushinstow­n in the premier championsh­ip recently. Tomás Murphy scoring the point five minutes into injury time. Team: Adam Cullen, Ben Cullen, Adam Murphy, Séamus Walsh, Brian Mooney, Feidhlim Roche, Kealan Fikentsche­r, Johnny O’Toole (01), Patrick O’Connor (0-8, 0-6 free 0-1 65). Josh Culleton. Tomas Murphy (0-5), Ollie Murphy, Don Redmond, Shane Lynch (1-0), Brian Óg Curran, Ciaran Cash, Rían Salmon.

The junior b hurlers defeated Rathgarogu­e-Cushinstow­n to reach the division six league final 4-12 to 1-08. Lar Lacey with a hat trick in the first half while Declan O’Leary with a goal in the second period. The win means we are promoted no matter what happens in final. They lost to St Martin’s earlier in the week in the championsh­ip but are still on top of the table with two games to go.

Thanks to Willie Cleary, the Wexford GAA developmen­t administra­tor officer who trained our under-9s and under-17s last week.

A massive thank you to all the local farmers who yet again have watered the pitch during the week.

There is a Committee meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 9 p.m. All members are expected to attend.

PHOENIX ARCHERS

We are an archery club shooting under the governing body Archery Ireland. We are open to new members from 8 years old to 100 years young. Archery is a fun challengin­g sport for all ages and abilities. We have fully qualified coaches to help get you started. We shoot both indoors and outdoors for training and competitio­ns.

Our current indoor venue is based in Ballymurn Hall. We train on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
