Social dancing in Kiltealy Community Hall on Friday night next July 27 with music by Brendan Lee. Tea and refreshmen­ts served. Admission €8, a great night guaranteed.

KILTEALY CELTIC AGM

Kiltealy Celtic Soccer Club will hold their AGM in Kiltealy Community Hall on tomorrow evening, Wednesday, July 25, at 8.30 p.m. Any parents interested in coaching underage members please attend this meeting. Membership fees may be paid now to the committee.

KILTEALY PATRON AND FIELD DAY

Kiltealy annual patron and field day will take place on Sunday, August 5, Prayers in the churchyard cemetery at 1 p.m., followed by Mass in the New Cemetery at 1.30 p.m. Ballindagg­in Pipe Band will then lead the attendance to the field day which will be bigger and better than ever. All the usual attraction­s including: bottle, cake and produce stalls, wheelof-fortune, bingo, duck racing, fishing, roulette, sand bags, face painting, guess score of match, guess number of sweets in jar, skittles, parents/children’s race. Tea and sandwiches tent, barbecue and ice cream van all on the field.

Raffle tickets have been distribute­d and are on sale at €2 each or book of three €5. Prizes: First prize is a weekend for two in Tullamore Court Hotel; second prize €200 Wexford Chamber voucher. Third €100 fuel voucher for Mr Oil. And numerous other prizes.

Dancing on patron night in Kiltealy Hall with music by Teresa and the Stars. Entertainm­ent in village pubs in the evening.

Something for everyone, a great family day out.

DUFFRY ROVERS LOTTO

The numbers drawn last week were 6, 9, 25 and 32. Five players matched three and won €30 each: Dean Jordan, Thomas, Doyle, Cormack Doyle, Eanna Murphy and Lillian Howlin. Seller’s prizes: Garry Earle, Pat Ryan, Robert Rackard and Matt Mernagh. Draw tonight will be in Bowe’s, Kiltealy, and the jackpot is €2,900.

BOIL WATER NOTICE

Irish Water and Wexford County Council have formulated a plan to address issues with Kiltealy public water supply. Since a BWN was issued last April a yield and quality test had been done on Ballycryst­al treatment plant and this has confirmed that there is sufficient water quantity to supply both Ballycryst­al and Kiltealy networks.

In order to bring the supply to Kiltealy a new 1.2km water main will be laid between existing Ballycr time for the event as there is no guarantee that any item will be included any week.

The deadline for receiving notes is 6 p.m. on a Thursday. Only not for profit items can be included. Thank you for your cooperatio­n.

PARISH SOCIAL NIGHT

Our parish night this year will take place on Next Sunday,

July 29, in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorth­y. Music will be by Shawn Cuddy and his band. Dancing from 9.30 p.m. Tickets are now available at €10 each. Door Prize and raffle on the night. All proceeds to parish funds.

STORYTELLI­NG

Next session of storytelli­ng in Castledock­rell Hall is on Thursday, August 16, at 8 p.m. Come along and enjoy a good night’s entertainm­ent. Refreshmen­ts served. There will be a raffle held also.

The next social dance is in Marshalsto­wn Community Centre on Friday, August 17, with doors opening at 9.30 p.m. and dancing starting at 10 p.m. Admission including tea is €8.
