COFFEE MORNING

A coffee morning in aid of St Kevin’s Church, Tara Hill, will be held on Sunday, August 5. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fundraiser will be held in the residence of Michael and Sarah Whelan, just beside the church. Come along on the morning for a cuppa, cake and friendly chat. All money raised will go towards the upkeep of the church and cementary in Tara Hill. Your support would be greatly appreciate­d.

CAKE SALE

Tara Hill ladies’ club will hold its annual cake sale on Sunday, July 29, after Mass in the church car park. Come along and treat yourself to some homemade produce. All donations of cakes, breads etc would be greatyly appreciate­d. Contact Irene Gregan or any member of the ladies’ club.

Bingo is played every Tuesday night at 8.30 p.m. in Rathnure hall. Rathnure Bingo is active on Facebook, search ‘Rathnure Bingo’ and like our page, thank you. The bingo jackpot on Tuesday the 24th is €4,500.

SOCIAL CLUB OUTING

On Thursday, July 26. Leaving Rathnure hall at 10 a.m. A short stop at Meadows and Byrne, dinner and afternoon tea in Kelly’s of Rosslare. Names to Ann Marie or Ann Barron, 087 9020071, as soon as possible. Friends welcome. The cost is approx. €20.

GAA CLUB LOTTO

The numbers last Tuesday the 17th were 1, 2, 25 and 29. There was no jackpot winner. Patricia O’Brien, c/o Bingo was the one match-three winner who won €200. The jackpot this Tuesday the 24th is €3,800.

RATHNURE CAMOGIE CLUB

KILLANNE PATRON MASS

Killanne Patron Mass will take place on Thursday, July 26. Mass will be celebrated in the graveyard at 7 p.m. followed by procession to St Anne’s Holy Well. Killanne Developmen­t Group invites everyone for refreshmen­ts afterwards in the hall.

SUMMER CAMP

Workshop for building your own robot. Build your own small robot and program through its online coding language – Ozoblockly. You will also program this machine by using colour codes on tracks drawn on paper. Location: Kiltealy hall. Dates: July 30 to August 3 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Ages: 11 – 18 years.
