BINGO
Bingo takes place every Monday night in the Anvil at 9 p.m.
IRISH NIGHT
The next Irish night will take place in the Anvil pub on Friday, July 27. Why not come along and join in the craic.
SOCCER
Crossabeg AFC and Ballymurn Celtic AFC will be interlinked at underage level starting this coming season, they are looking for interest from parents for teams ranging from under-eight to under-16. Bree Patron will be on Sunday, August 19, commencing in Clonmore at 1.30 p.m., Bree New Cemetery 2 p.m., Bree Old Cemetery 2.30 p.m. and concluding with Benediction in the church.
EDERMINE FERRY ROWING CLUB
The first regatta of the season was hosted by St Kearns RC on Sunday, July 8, and a great day’s racing was enjoyed by our club members. Over a programme of 25 races, crews got great results to kick start the season with six wins in second class ladies, under-14 boys A, under-16 boys A, under-18 boys, Veteran Mixed and first Class Men followed by four second-places in under-12 girls A, Under-14 boys B, Pre-Vet Ladies and second Class Men and a further four third places in third Class Mixed, Pre-Vet Men, under-16 boys B and third Class Men.
Congratulations to all of our crews who competed and especially to our new members.
The next regatta takes place in Ferrycarrig on Sunday, July 29, and Edermine Ferry will host their home regatta on the evenings of Saturday, August 11, and Sunday, August 12.
On the weekend of August 17 and 18, club crews will head to Cork for the first ever Rowing Ireland Irish Coastal Rowing Championship, having affiliated directly to the new Coastal Rowing Section of Rowing Ireland earlier this year.
BREE ACTIVE RETIRED

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS
The Irish Cancer Society needs extra drivers for the Volunteer Driver Service in Wexford – to drive cancer patients to and from.
their chemotherapy appointments in Waterford University Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. We are looking for drivers with free weekday availability and who have a car available to them. Drivers should be able to commit to driving at least two full weekdays a month. All volunteer expenses are paid.
