Well done to Nicky Foley, Michael O’Flaherty and Suzanne Foley who ran the Intermedia­te road race in Ballymurn on Friday.

In the women’s 4k race, Suzanne had a great run to finish 13th in 19:44.

Meanwhile, Michael was 23rd in the 8k men’s race, running a time of 30:37.

Nicky was 40th, running 33:31. Great performanc­es guys!

Very good results were recorded in Sunday’s Leo Carthy weekend 6k in Our Lady’s Island. Well done all!

Kilmore Athletics Club were delighted to support the ASK Dawn Walk. As a club we feel that mental health is very important and we agree that running itself and getting active can have such a positive impact.

‘Meet and train’ on The Burrow (Sofrimar end) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. caters for beginners to experience­d runners.

There’s only a light, easy run on Wednesday. Walkers are welcome with the aim of starting out running.
