GAA CLUB NOTES
While there was no jackpot winner in the lotto draw, there were four match-three winners. The numbers were 13 (again), 14, 20, 22. The next draw for €5,300 takes place on the 13th.
Congratulations to Clonee girls under-16 who won the Ciara Ryan blitz held in Kilanerin. Well done to the 100 plus girls who took part, their mentors and especially Ballymaguigan, who travelled once again from Co. Derry to take part.
Respects to the Ryan family from everyone. Very well done to the under-14 girls who have gotten through to both football and camogie county finals. A great achievement. The boys under-20 footballers are through to their quarter final after beating Oylegate last Wednesday.
The adult A hurlers play Our lady’s island on Monday the sixth, senior footballers play St Anne’s on Friday the 10th in Patricks park at 8.30 p.m. and the intermediate footballers play St Martin’s on Sunday the 12th in Monamo- lin at 11.30 a.m. Home underage matches inc girls under-16f/b v Castletown possibly on Tuesday the seventh, under-12 camogie in Kilanerin v Marshalstown on Thursday the ninth and under-15 Hurling in the Rock, also on ninth also v Marshalstown.
