GAA LOTTO

Lotto results for August 8 were 2, 9, 11 and 22, there was no winner of the jackpot. There were two people to match three numbers, S O’Leary and Darren Kenny. The next jackpot is €7,200. lotto tickets on sale from any club members. if your not in you cant win.

GAA ACTION

The Intermedia­te Hurlers secure a quarter final spot after there recent win over the Shamrocks in Taghmon. The match took place at 7.30 p.m. last Wednesday which was a physical battle with the Shamrocks side ending with a final score of 2-17 to 1-12.

The Junior B hurlers also were on the winning side when they overcame the St Anne’s on Friday, August 3, in their last group game, this placed them second in the group with Blackwater being the group winners, this puts the junior team into a district semi-final. Bingo

Bingo takes place every Monday night in the Anvil at 9 p.m.

UNDERAGE SOCCER

Crossabeg AFC and Ballymurn Celtic AFC will be interlinke­d at underage level starting this coming season, they are looking for interest from parents for teams ranging from under-eight to under-16. ARCHERY CLUB

Phoenix Archers are an archery club shooting under the governing body Archery Ireland. We are open to new members from eight years old to 100 years young.

Archery is a fun challengin­g sport for all ages and abilities. We have fully qualified coaches to help get you started. We shoot both indoors and outdoors for training and competitio­ns. Our current indoor venue is based in Ballymurn Hall. We train on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
