Great excitement as Byrnes Books & Toys open their brand new store on Gorey Main Street

There was great excitement in Gorey last week as Byrnes Books & Toys opened their brand new store at 88 Main Street Gorey.

Sporting the new Byrnes branding, the store looks amazing and boasts Gorey’s largest Book department for adults and kids alike, including their famous “3 for €10” fiction range and a large range of half price book specials all year round.

The store also has a Hallmark Gold Crown greeting card department, carrying cards, wrap and gift bags for all occasions.

Byrnes has always specialized in carrying top brands and, as well as being a Hallmark Gold Crown store, it has a beautiful Yankee Candle Department and a large Lego department.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! The store also has a full large toy department with games, puzzles, art & crafts and lots of other great toys. It also has a huge pocket money toy section, stocking Squishies, LOL Dolls and, of course, putty and slime and lots of other great value toys.

The opening day was great fun and very busy. The first 50 customers all received free goody bags, and there were balloons, face painting and free Lego play throughout the day.
