-

EVEN though Christmas is still some time off, preparations are already under way for the great event in Enniscorthy.

Santa’s Enchanted Castle, a magical Christmas experience set in a world of fantasy at Enniscorthy Castle, will open on November 25, and continue till December 23, during which time thousands of children and their excited parents will visit the world of make belief in a castle setting completely transformed to reflect Santa’s home in the North Pole.

Booking is now open on santa sen-chanted ca st le.ie and early booking is advised.

Last year over 2,000 people visited Santa’s Enchanted Castle where the intimate Christmas experience unfolded in a most realistic way. Groups of up to a maximum of 15 children at a time are brought through the castle in the company of Santa’s Elves, a host of Disney characters and other special friends. Along the way they will encounter breath- taking themed rooms such as Beauty and the Beast’s Christmas Banquet, Elf University, Ice Age, Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid and 100 Acre Wood, home of Winnie the Pooh.

Kids will also get the chance to sample some yummy treats from Mrs Claus’ Traditional Sweet Shop before a private family visit to the man himself – Santa Claus.

A new innovation has been added to this year’s programme at the Enchanted Castle. Four dates have been set aside for sensitive Santa tours for a maximum of eight children with a fully- trained SNA. These tours are specifically designed to support children with autism and other sensory, physical and developmental needs.

Book online at santasenchantedcastle.ie.
