Donovan nets the winner for Bohs

LFA Youth Cup

Wexford Bohs continue to fly the flag for the Model county after edging out St. Patrick’s Boys in the O’Neill’s LFA Youth Cup Saturday Section first round.

Jordan Donovan got the only goal of the game to send the Drinagh outfit into the next round.

Jack Salt fired Tombrack United in front against St. Joseph’s (Blue) in Tinryland, but that was as good as it got for the visitors with the Carlow side running out 3-1 winners.

Elsewhere, Enniscorth­y United lost out 3-0 to a strong Avonmore side.

Youths Premier Division

Gorey Rangers made it four wins from four in the Youths Premier Division when seeing off Ferns United 4-0 on Saturday.

Danny Cranch, Jake Kearney and Aymen Siouane were among the scorers.

Youths Division 1

Bridge Rovers moved to the top of Youths Division 1 with an emphatic 7-1 victory over St. Cormac’s on Saturday. Seán Murphy, Darragh Malone, Dylan O’Neill, Evan Carr, Tiernan Malone and Wictor Janzcy (two) got the goals for the Castlebrid­ge side.

Reece De La Cour helped himselt to a hattrick for Rosslare Rangers as they overcame Kilmore United 3-1.

St. Leonards earned their first win of the campaign, with Tarique Ngouoto, Ben Whitty, Jamie Sheehan and Jack Holden getting their goals in a 4-1 win over Gorey Celtic, and Darragh Flanagan replying.

Youths Division 2

Cathal Roche put in a five-star display for Shamrock Rovers as he helped his side to a 7-2 win in Camolin on Saturday. Roche hit the back of the net five times, while Aaron Wallace and Jack Davis got their other goals.

Adam Boylan (two), Paul Hearne, Conor Roche and Ryan Corrigan (two) got the goals for Curracloe United in their 6-2 win over Glynn Barntown.

Youths Division 3

Bree United picked up their first points of the campaign when they saw off Wexford Celtic in a real goal-fest on Saturday.

Peter Rodgers scored a hat-trick, Tadgh Malone and Eamonn Doyle both added doubles, with Jack Kinsella getting their other goal in an 8-6 triumph. Eoin O’Connor (two), Michael Dowd (penalty), Jack Ryan, John Hennesy and Bobby Freeman got the goals for Celtic.

Alex Molloy (two), Lorcan Breen, Aaron Hanley and Jack Donohue scored for Corach Ramblers in their 5-3 win in Adamstown.

Elsewhere, Jamie O’Rourke bagged both goals for Shelburne in their 2-1 win over St. Joseph’s.
