NO POSTERS PLEASE

As the Presidential Election approaches, Ballygarrett Tidy Towns will be joining with Tidy Towns groups, villages and towns around Ireland in requesting that no election posters be erected within the 50km zone on any approach road to and within the village.

Such posters are a blight on the roadside and streetscape. Many more effective, environmentally friendly and less costly ways of promoting candidates are available now.
