Workshop proves very costly
A MAN who attempted to set up a crash repairs business in the grounds of his home landed a bill for more than €5,000 on conviction for a planning offence.
Shane Cummins, Gibberwell, Duncormick admitted that he had done wrong in setting up the unauthorised workshop but assured Wexford District Court that everything is now in order.
He was fined €3,500 and ordered to pay costs of €697 to Wexford County Council along with expenses of €860.
