The annual fourball competition between the Wexford resident members and those non-residents in the county took place on Saturday in cold, sunny and windy conditions. A very competitive and fun event resulted in the Wexford resident members winning in a very tight match.

Rivalries soon abated as the annual dinner dance got under way in the clubhouse on Saturday night. Following delicious food and wine, there was music and dancing until the small hours. It was another great annual social event.

Today’s (Tuesday) competition is 14 holes singles, holes 3-16, as is Tuesday, November 6, on the main course.

Twelve-hole stableford singles (N/C handicap) will be held on the Burrow course on October 30 and November 6.
