Bingo is played every Tuesday night at 8.30 p.m. in Rathnure hall. Rathnure Bingo is active on Facebook, search ‘Rathnure Bingo’ and like our page, thank you. The bingo jackpot on Tuesday the 30th is €6,000.

SCHOOL NEWS

The children from third and fourth class had a fantastic time at Ryan’s Farm on Monday, October 8, celebrating National Potato Day. Over 200 primary school children attended the farm and the students were shown how the potatoes are grown, harvested, tested and packaged. A very big thank you to Seán Ryan, Mary and the gang on the day.

PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

Rathnure Parent and Toddler Group restarts every Friday from November 9, 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come along with your child/ grandchild for fun, games and laughter. €2 per family. Contact Emma Carr: 086 8428848.

The 50th Celebratory dinner dance is on Saturday, November 24, tickets available soon. We are still collecting old photos and memorabilia.
