HOSPICE THANKS

Hospice Homecare (Enniscorth­y Branch) wish to thank all who supported the coffee morning held in Castledock­rell recently at which €659 was raised. This donation is very gratefully received.

LADIES’ FOOTBALL AGM

Baile Dubh Tíre Ladies’ Football annual general meeting is on Sunday evening, November 18, at 6 p.m. in Farmleigh. All adult players and parents of underage girls asked to attend. New members very welcome.

CASTLEDOCK­RELL NS

As we settle back to school after our mid-term break we look forward to a busy fun-filled seven weeks ahead. We are busy preparing for our performanc­e at ‘Sing Out Loud’ in the National Opera House on Thursday, November 22. The senior room are beginning their STEPS engineerin­g project this week. Hurling coaching is under way for all class groups also and our after school music classes began on Monday, November 5.

We will host An open evening on Wednesday, November 14, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the School. The old photograph­s and roll books will be on display. Fifth and sixth classes will do a presentati­on and perform some music and we will also celebrate Fr McDonald’s recent 40th Anniversar­y of his ordination.

CAMOGIE AGM.

Marshalsto­wn-Castledock­rell camogie club AGM will take place in the club house, Farmleigh on Friday, November 30, at 8 p.m. Adult players and anyone wishing to help out at the club in any way for 2019 are invited to attend.
